Baby is still growing, though, since my belly is still relatively small, I do find myself wondering when he or she is going to POP!

Speaking of POPPING, Baby got to meet lots of great aunts and uncles this week for the 4th of July! My Uncle Tim and Juanita, and Aunt Cindy and Uncle Guy were all here to celebrate – or just spend time together. ๐Ÿ˜Š My extended family of lots of aunts and uncles on both sides of the family have been so important to me throughout my entire life. I feel so fortunate that my baby will feel the same love from his or her great aunts and uncles.

We also got some great news…the genetic screens came back negative – Baby B does not have Down’s Syndrome, nor does s/he have anomalies related to Trisomy 13 or 18. Just like I said before, there was no real suspicion that Baby would have any of those conditions, but because of my current age, they wanted to be sure all was well. No need for an amniocentesis! ๐Ÿ™Œ

We also found out the gender! Or Marissa from Cleveland Clinic Genomic Medical Institute did and told Auntie Emmy, so she knows how to prepare for the gender reveal next weekend. I really wanted everyone to be surprised but Emily said she “likes to be in the know” – so now she is.

Baby is the size of an onion…or a pear…or a turnip!
